Defamation maybe

So we've been having trouble with Dom getting nibbled by monsters in the middle of the night. We tried all the usual gambits - there are't really any monsters, even if there were they'd be friendly, what do we say to monsters - "Go away Monster!" or just laugh at them hahahaha. Nothing really worked. Then Jobley found a link to "Go away Monster!" - an American board game (rules) and I found a company over here that stocked it. Dom absolutely loves it, we've played it loads, we're 'participating in narrative play that gives him control of the monsters'... and he's still being woken by scary purple monsters in the night. Ah well.

Perhaps the best thing about it, aside from how much he loves playing the game, is how he's taken to some of the monsters and how some remind him of people he knows in real life. Enjoy.
